Who can manage billing#
Only workspace owners and admins can choose, change, cancel or resume a plan and buy credit packs. Members see the plan and usage but not the billing controls. Billing is per workspace: each workspace has its own plan.
How to upgrade from Free to a paid plan#
Owners and admins open Settings → Billing, click Choose a paid plan, pick Starter or Pro and pay in the secure checkout of our payment provider. The new monthly credits apply as soon as the payment is confirmed. Usage → Upgrade plan leads to the same place. Plans are monthly subscriptions you can cancel any time.
Can I pay yearly?#
Not today. Starter ($49) and Pro ($149) are monthly subscriptions you can cancel any time. For a larger or custom arrangement, ask for a person in the support chat.
How to upgrade from Starter to Pro#
Owners and admins open Settings → Billing → Change plan and choose Pro. The upgrade applies immediately. You are charged the prorated difference between Starter and Pro for the rest of the current period, and you get Pro's extra credits prorated the same way: with 10 of 30 days left, this period's allowance becomes 1,000 + 4,000 × 10/30 = 2,333 credits. From the next period on you have the full 5,000 credits a month, and the subscription renews at $149 a month.
How to downgrade from Pro to Starter#
Owners and admins open Settings → Billing → Change plan and choose Starter. A downgrade takes effect at the next renewal: you keep Pro and its 5,000 credits until then, and nothing is charged or refunded now. Settings → Billing shows "Plan change scheduled" with the date. From the renewal on, the workspace is on Starter with 1,000 credits for $49 a month.
Cancelling a scheduled downgrade#
Changed your mind about a downgrade? Before the renewal date open Settings → Billing → Change plan and choose your current plan again (Keep Pro). The scheduled switch is cancelled and nothing else changes.
How to cancel my subscription#
To cancel your paid plan, owners and admins open Settings → Billing and click Cancel subscription. You can tell us why (optional). The cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period: you are not charged again, and everything keeps working until that date. Settings → Billing shows "Cancellation scheduled" with the end date. Owners and admins get a confirmation email.
What happens when a subscription ends#
On the end date the workspace moves to the Free plan (25 credits a month). Enabled schedules are paused (not deleted) with the note "Paused when the subscription ended"; resume them on Schedules when you need them. Purchased credits stay available. Reports, settings and the HubSpot connection are kept. Choose a plan again any time to get the full allowance back.
How to resume a cancelled subscription#
Before the end date, owners and admins open Settings → Billing and click Resume subscription. The plan then renews as usual and you will be charged again at renewal. Choosing a different plan in Change plan while a cancellation is scheduled also resumes the subscription first. After the end date, choose a paid plan again instead.
Failed payment (past due)#
If a renewal payment fails, Settings → Billing shows "Payment failed". The workspace keeps its plan for a short grace period while the payment provider retries the charge. Update the payment method from the link in the payment provider's receipt email. While a payment is past due, plan changes and self-serve cancellation are not available. To cancel instead, write to contact@alignifytech.com or ask for a person in the support chat.
Invoices and receipts#
Payments are processed by our payment provider, which emails a receipt for every charge to the email used at checkout. Alignify does not show invoices inside the app. If you need a copy of a receipt or an invoice with your company details, ask for a person in the support chat.
Payment methods and card details#
Payment happens in our payment provider's secure checkout. Alignify never sees or stores your card details. To change the card, use the link in the payment provider's receipt email.
Refunds#
Cancelling stops future charges; the current period is not refunded automatically. The Terms of Service (/terms) describe when a refund can be requested, for example a renewal you meant to cancel, reported within 3 calendar days of the new period starting. If you think you were charged by mistake, ask for a person in the support chat and we will look at it.
Why can't I open a second checkout?#
A workspace can only have one subscription. While a subscription is running (active, past due, or cancellation scheduled), a new checkout is refused with a message to use Change plan in Settings → Billing instead. This protects you from paying twice.
Deleting a workspace with a subscription#
A workspace with a running paid subscription cannot be deleted. Cancel the subscription first; as soon as the cancellation is scheduled you can delete the workspace.
