How the support chat works#
Signed in, click Help at the bottom right of any page. The Alignify assistant answers first, using our help articles and the basic facts of your own workspace (plan, credits, HubSpot connection status, recent run statuses and number of schedules). It does not see the contents of your CRM records and never sees other customers' data. Its answers are suggestions; if it cannot help, click Talk to a person. Questions here never use credits.
Talking to a person#
Click Talk to a person in the chat. Our team gets notified immediately. We usually reply within a few hours on business days. You will also get the answer by email, so you can close the chat and come back later.
When to ask for a person#
Ask for a person when you need someone to act or decide: a billing question about a specific charge, refund or invoice; a bug or a run that keeps failing with the same error; moving a workspace to another HubSpot portal or setting up a second workspace; a data, privacy, DPA or legal request; a security report; or when the assistant's answer did not solve your problem. Mention the run, page or error message to speed things up.
Transcripts#
When a conversation is closed (by you, by us, or automatically after 30 minutes without new messages) we email you a copy of it. A conversation waiting for a person is never closed automatically. Your past conversations are listed in the chat panel.
Chat message limits#
The assistant answers up to 30 messages per person per hour, and the chat accepts at most 20 messages a minute. If you hit a limit, wait a little or click Talk to a person; a person can always still reply.
