Getting started: the four steps#
- Connect HubSpot on Integrations (owner or admin).
- Run an agent on one of your HubSpot records: Runs → Run an agent, or Agents → pick an agent → Run agent (owner or admin).
- Approve and apply its proposed HubSpot updates in WriteBacks (owner or admin).
- Add a schedule on Schedules so the agent runs on its own, at a set time or when a deal reaches a HubSpot stage.
The Dashboard checklist shows which step you are on and links to the next one. Steps 1 and 2 are enough to get reports; steps 3 and 4 put results into HubSpot and automate them.
Step 1: connect HubSpot#
Open Integrations and click Connect HubSpot, choose your HubSpot portal and approve the access screen. You come back to Alignify and the first schema sync starts on its own. Only a workspace owner or admin can connect, and your HubSpot user needs permission to install apps in that portal. See "How to connect HubSpot" for details.
Step 2: run your first agent#
Open Runs and click Run an agent (or open an agent in Agents and click Run agent). Pick the agent, pick the HubSpot record it should look at (a deal, contact, company or ticket, depending on the agent), choose a depth (Expert is recommended) and click Start. The price in credits is shown on the button before you start. Most runs finish within a minute or two; the report opens from the run.
Step 3: approve and apply proposed updates in WriteBacks#
After a run, its proposed HubSpot updates (a note, a task, Alignify fields, sometimes a standard field) appear in WriteBacks. An owner or admin reviews each one and clicks Approve & apply to HubSpot (one confirmed step that writes it to HubSpot) or Reject. Approving and applying at least one update of an agent is also what lets you schedule that agent.
Step 4: add a schedule#
Open Schedules. An agent appears there once it has one successful run and one approved and applied WriteBack in your workspace. Click Add a schedule, choose On a time schedule (every day or every week at an hour in UTC) or On a HubSpot deal event (a pipeline and stage), set the scope and click Create.
Which agent should I try first?#
- Sales teams: Deal Template Analysis or Pipeline Risk on an open deal, Discovery Prep before a call.
- Pipeline reviews: Stale Deals on a deal that has gone quiet, CRM Deal Health for a workspace hygiene scan.
- Marketing and SDRs: Web-form Lead Qualification or Inbound Email Qualification on a new lead, SDR First-call Prep on a contact.
- Customer success: Ticket Categorization on a ticket, QBR Prep on a customer company.
- RevOps: Auditor on a deal, Dedup & Merge for duplicate contacts and companies.
The Free plan's 25 credits are enough for about a dozen Expert runs to try them.
